WorldSkills Australia

The AOF has established a very strong affiliation with WorldSkills Australia. WorldSkills competitions provide a significant pool of very motivated and very highly skilled young people.

Through the partnership we have with WorldSkills, many young people are encouraged to apply for the AOF scholarship as they have highly developed work skills and possess excellent communication skills.

History has shown that most of the applicants who have been successful with WorldSkills competitions have been successful in obtaining an AOF scholarship.

WorldSkills Australia have been very supportive in working with the AOF board to advance the application rate of high calibre young people from a diverse range of trade apprenticeship and traineeship fields.
